David started wood working early in his life, while helping his father with carpentry projects around the house. He carved his first decoy as a senior year project in his high school wood shop. Woodworking sort of took a back seat as his life started to unfold. Subsequently, David joined the US Navy in 1991, just after the first Gulf War. It wasn't until 1999, after a long deployment, when David returned home and decided to take up wood carving as a hobby. He felt it would be good to have a creative outlet and maybe even make some money on the side. Over the years, he has carved hundreds of birds, cats and other assorted wildlife. He has even produced artistic and special request items for individual clients.
After serving his country for 20 years, David retired from the Navy as a decorated sailor with honors in 2011. David ventured outside his comfort zone and started creating unique one of a kind pieces. From massive dining room tables, to high end custom kitchen island countertops, and even custom built ins. He has even dabbled in custom made cabinetry for a couple of prominent customers with very particular tastes. Each item is handmade to the customers specifications and requirements. David also delivers and installs every item personally, ensuring every aspect of the project is fulfilled to the customers 100% satisfaction.
David's wood working talents are limitless. He looks forward to creating one of a kind pieces for you and your loved ones, that are destined to become family heirlooms.
